Whilst my demeanour may be one of a slightly potty middle aged woman, don’t be deceived…
I am also a qualified Stress Management and ACT practitioner with additional degrees in Polish and Marketing Management. I have been running businesses (my own and other people’s) since the age of 13 and I have had more failed and abandoned businesses than most.
I learned grit the hard way and I now run my babyballet franchise as well as The Happy Business Club side by side from my awesome home office dubbed ‘The Happy Business Club HQ’.
The hardest lessons to learn in business came through my babyballet dance school which I set up 6 weeks after the stillbirth of my first son Jakob. These lessons were so important that I tattooed them on my wrist several years later!
My business almost folded during the pandemic but I got through it and finally streamlined the business, paid off a ton of debt and started generating an income after almost 9 years of refusing to quit.
Then came The Happy Business Club, which is now my passion project and the vehicle for all my future work. This is the thing which makes me happier and more energised than I have ever been in my life.
Within The Happy Business Club I have created and built a fantastic community and monthly digital magazine called The Happy Business Express, set up a YouTube channel and the deliciously EPIC show Experts Eating Cake and I even realised my lifelong dream to eat cake with my mates, all in the name of my work.
Why am I holding this event?
Well, I am just like you. On and off for the last 20 years (and more) I have been grappling with all the roadblocks that all entrepreneurs face:
Wearing all the hats
An innate inability to say ‘no’
Playing small even when my dreams are big
CBA days
Having no steady income to pay the bills
Trying to believe in myself when no one else does
Doing the boring work
Second guessing all my decisions
The feeling that I am wasting my time and ‘should get a proper job’
Feeling like a failure, or even worse, an imposter
Having too many ideas and spreading myself thinly
And over the course of time, I have steadily built hacks, habits, routines and practices to deal with every single one.
Along the way I noticed that the shit things are infinitely easier to bear when I feel healthy, energised, motivated, empowered and strong.
And that stuff is part of the long game of life and makes up the path towards my dreams of making a difference in the world and having a good time doing it.
So, in a bid to have fun with all my biz buddies as well as eat cake with them and help them to realise THEIR dreams, I decided to put on a big party vibe event and call it The Dream Builders and World Changers Experience.
This experience is more than just an event; it's a transformational journey that will empower you with the resilience YOU need to overcome the challenges you face in your business.
